By actively engaging in these ways, families can play a crucial role in supporting their adult children's transition to independence and success in the San Lorenzo Unified Adult Transition Program at Royal Sunset campus.
Participate in Transition Planning
- Attend all transition planning meetings and actively contribute to discussions.
- Share your vision for your adult child's future and work collaboratively with the team to set realistic goals.
- Provide input on your child's strengths, needs, and interests through various assessments.
Engage in Communication
- Maintain frequent, two-way communication with teachers and staff.
- Provide feedback on your child's services, progress toward goals, and any necessary changes to the transition plan.
