Opportunities to Stay Involved (Alumni & Family)

 

We thrive on the continued support of our community! Staying involved strengthens our program and provides vital connections for our current students and school life.

  • SLZUSD Volunteer Program:
    • Opportunity: Families and community members are welcome to apply to volunteer directly at the Royal Sunset High School campus! Opportunities include assisting with vocational preparation, supporting special events, or helping in the classroom.

  • Guest Speaker & Mentorship:
    • Opportunity: Alumni who have achieved successful employment or independent living are encouraged to share their post-graduation journey! Contact us to become a guest speaker, mentor, or host a vocational visit for current students on campus or in the community.
  • SLZUSD Family Resource Center (FRC) Support:
    • Opportunity: Support the district-wide FRC, which provides essential services like food, clothing, and counseling to SLZUSD families. You can donate or volunteer to help keep this vital community support available.

  • Attend On-Campus Social and Community Events:
  • Opportunity: Join us for our school-specific celebrations! Check the Royal Sunset calendar for upcoming events like the annual Back to School Night, holiday celebrations, and graduation ceremonies. These are perfect opportunities for alumni and families to reconnect.
